I love people. I love weddings. I love photography. I love chocolate. I love to ride my mountain bike, my road bike, too. I love to work in my yard, planting shrubs, flowers, and such. I love my children, I love my fiancée. And, I’m a really, really nice person (or, at least that’s what my mom tells me, my dad, too!).
I love to laugh. I LOVE hugs. I love all the changing seasons; fall is my favorite; and, spring, when nature is replenishing itself. I’m a Super DAD to Carley and Shannon; and, with all my heart I adore my daughters and love being their dad. I’m 50+ years young and I grew up in Lansing where I played from morning to nightfall, summers and winters, too (when we could play in the streets in the good old days!). I went ice skating; went on to H.S. and became a famous jock (I wish!) but I was known for being a basketball jock. I’m a Spartan fan, too… go MSU!
I have had a camera (off and on) since I can remember. I had my pilot’s license forever… until I became a Dad. I’ve gone skydiving once; bungee jumping, never! I never tried playing an instrument; not sure about my dancing skills… and, I never tried singing; I know that I’m better suited at keeping my mouth closed and my eyes open. Oh, and, did I mention I LOVE my camera? it is a natural part of me.

This is my first memory of wanting to be a photographer… me as a child, sleeping while having my picture taken!
